Job Title: IT Support Specialist - SC Cleared

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Job Type: Full-time, 6-month fixed term contract

Salary: £35,000 Per Annum Pro Rata, plus benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Jumar Solutions. As a Deskside Engineer, you will be responsible for providing hardware and software support to our clients, both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for IT products and services, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all technical issues are resolved and that our clients receive the highest level of service.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of our clients' technical environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IT engineering, preferably in a commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and hardware.
  • Experience with Active Directory, network fault troubleshooting, and network builds is desirable.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and a strong analytical approach.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair desktops and laptops.
  • Desktop and laptop accreditation is desirable.
  • Full UK driving license.
