Anaesthetics and Recovery Healthcare Professional

As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing operating theatres, managing theatre lists, supervising junior staff, and performing anaesthetic duties. Your experience as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating theatres and anaesthetic rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Efficiently manage theatre lists, coordinating with surgical teams and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Perform anaesthetic duties, including preparing and administering anaesthetic agents and monitoring patients' safety and comfort.
- Participate in continuous learning opportunities to stay updated with the latest techniques and best practices in anaesthetics.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must be a qualified ODP or Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module.
- Professional Registration: Current registration with the NMC or HCPC with no restrictions on your PIN.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in anaesthetics, with experience in recovery desirable.
