About this role

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your Pharmacy career and make a difference in the lives of our patients. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be part of helping patients feel good, from clear advice and care to wide ranges of dispensing services provided.

You will work across the healthcare counter and the dispensary where patients' needs are most prominent. Your duties will include:

  1. Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  2. Delivering technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring safe supply of medicines including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
  3. Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
  4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
  5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.

What we offer

We're offering an exciting career opportunity with support for development towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services, eligibility to register with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and potential Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. The salary range for this position is £24,500 - £30,000 per annum.
