Before & After School Site Director:
Join our team at the Saratoga Regional YMCA as a Senior Youth Lead for our part-time Before & After School program. This role offers the opportunity to work with children aged 5-12, providing a fun and supportive environment that promotes learning and growth. Key responsibilities include leading staff, developing programs, and maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits: $19.63/hour, paid bi-weekly, with access to a competitive benefits package including free YMCA membership and childcare discounts.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and has experience in child development, education, or a related field. As a Senior Youth Lead, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities and curriculums, supervising staff, and contributing to the overall success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead staff to ensure high-quality care and programming
  • Develop and implement programs and activities that promote learning and growth
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' direct experience working with children less than 13 years old, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
  • Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred
