After School Learning Specialist

Overview:
Snapology is seeking a part-time teacher to join our team. As an after-school instructor, you will work with children in a group setting, providing educational and fun activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain discipline and manage student behavior in the classroom
- Prepare lessons and materials for each program
- Communicate effectively with parents and students
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with children or education degree
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule:
The flexible schedule can include weekday classes between 12-6pm and/or weekend events between 10-6pm. Minimum availability of 3 days per week is required.
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, education, reliability, and hours worked.
Locations:
We are looking for teachers to instruct classes in multiple locations including Auburndale, Needham, Boston, Newton, Brookline, Norwood, Cambridge, Wellesley, Canton, Weston, Chestnut Hill, Westwood, and Dedham.
Programs:
- Weekday availability needed during school hours in the afternoon
- Weekday after-school and/or evening classes
- Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties
- Summer enrichment camps
- Special events, holidays, and break workshops
