Key Stage 1 Nurture Group Teaching Assistant

This is a Teaching Assistant position in a large primary school in Stoke, supporting a Key Stage 1 nurture group of lower-achieving children.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a teaching assistant and familiarity with running a classroom, as they will be expected to lead small groups and positively impact raising attainment within the Year 1/2 class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting SEN children in Key Stage 1
  • Working alongside other support assistants and the SENCO
  • Key Stage 1 Experience
  • Working with low-achieving EAL children
  • Fixed Term, Long Term Contract
  • Nurturing roles and qualities desirable
  • Position starting ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
