Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in a primary school in Stoke. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and the school's SENCO to develop tailored strategies that promote each student's individual growth and well-being.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential 1:1 support to students with a variety of SEN, helping them navigate their learning journey and thrive in a mainstream classroom setting. Your ability to foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere will be key to helping these pupils succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students with SEN
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCO to develop tailored strategies
  • Fostering a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom
  • Supporting students across different age groups

We are looking for candidates who have experience working with children with additional needs and a solid understanding of the challenges they may face in a classroom environment. A familiarity with safeguarding practices within a primary school context is essential.

This full-time position offers competitive PAYE rates and a Monday to Friday schedule. An immediate start is available following registration with our team.
