Job Title: SEN Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and support to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outcomes for young people who are Primary age and some at secondary age but working below age-related expectations.
- Teach the Primary National Curriculum at KS1/KS2.
- Supervise and provide support and guidance to Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants.
- Implement school policies and practices, including those relating to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
- Monitor the health, well-being, and personal care of pupils and inform relevant professionals of any concerns.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience in achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Thorough working knowledge of the primary national curriculum and how to adapt this for pupils with SEN.
- Experience of working with young people with ASD/SEN.
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
