Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support the teaching and learning process in our client primary schools. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers in planning and preparing lessons, providing targeted support to students, particularly those with special educational needs or requiring additional help.

Salary: An estimated salary of £22,500 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Teachers: Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Student Support: Provide targeted support to students, particularly those with special educational needs or requiring additional help.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or similar role within a primary school setting.
  2. Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and experience in supporting teaching and learning.
  3. Adaptability: A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  4. Safeguarding: Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
