**Job Title:** Child Welfare Manager

Vetro Recruitment is working with a client who is seeking an experienced Child Welfare Manager to lead their new Family Assessment Centre.

About the Role:

  • As a Child Welfare Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and families in need of additional support.
  • You will implement effective safeguarding practices, provide team supervision, and empower staff to achieve best outcomes.
  • Additional responsibilities include conducting parenting assessments, promoting family life, and supporting staff development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or a formal qualification in social work.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in residential settings, including strong parenting assessment knowledge and skills.
  • Management/leadership experience or a willingness to be trained, as well as a full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career growth.
