We are currently seeking an experienced CASS Reconciliation Team Manager to join our team in this exciting role.

The primary responsibility of the Team Manager is to oversee and support a team of Senior Analysts and Technical Coordinators within the CASS and Distribution Reconciliation teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciliations Management: Ensure that all reconciliations activities are processed as per Service Level Agreements (SLA), including production and dispatch of the CASS Reconciliations packs, production of Operations and Distribution reconciliations, monthly reconciliations management information, and query resolution.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Comply with regulations, specifically but not limited to, CASS and attain client-specific processing requirements, including Client Money oversight and control.
  • Document Management: Oversee the day-to-day document management process, ensuring that reconciliations tasks are processed and reviewed accurately and timely into the workflow system.
  • Scalability and Process Improvement: Maximize scalability through the use of onshore and offshore locations and multi-functionality.
  • Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for unresolved issues to the offshore TA team.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining close working relationships with other areas, such as Settlements, Dealing, CSMs, and internal departments like Relationship Managers. The ideal candidate will analyze monthly management information to understand where quality at an individual process, team, or management company needs improvement.

With a strong focus on employee development, the Team Manager will be responsible for providing guidance and support to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

This role also involves being the main contact point both internally and externally for all reconciliation-related activities, including audits, projects, and client onboarding. In addition, the Team Manager must ensure appropriate segregation of duties controls are in place at all times.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of reconciliations and associated ledger work, with excellent knowledge of CASS rules, particularly CASS 7 and CASS 6, and proficiency in using MS Excel and learning systems used within the business.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
