Mental Health Support Worker Opportunity
This role involves providing emotional support and practical assistance to individuals experiencing mental health illnesses in living and residential settings. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with the care team to promote independence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing trusting relationships with service users to understand their needs and concerns.">
  • Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.">
  • Facilitating group sessions and one-to-one interactions to promote social skills and emotional stability.">
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.">
  • Maintaining accurate records of service user progress and reporting any significant changes or concerns.">


Requirements:
  1. ">
  2. A minimum of 6 months' experience in the mental health sector, preferably in a support worker role.">
  3. Holding MAPA/PMVA training certification and a valid DBS check.">
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.">
  5. A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.">
  6. A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry-recognized qualifications.">
