HR Administration Apprentice Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our People team as an HR Administration Apprentice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to develop a career in HR and gain experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the HR team with a range of admin duties connected to the full employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, data, and HR systems.
  • Carry out pre-employment screening, including right to work checks and DBS checks.
  • Produce offer of employment documentation and contractual change letters.
  • Support the People Partners with HR-related activities, including payroll processing and performance management.
  • Monitor the HR mailbox and respond to queries or escalate as required.
Requirements:
  • English and Maths qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Demonstrable interest in the HR field.
  • Some prior experience in a HR admin-related role would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HR systems is advantageous but not essential.
Working Arrangements:
  • Working pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: office-based.
