Youth Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Youth Support Worker, you will work with students who have additional needs and mental health issues in a SEMH school in Hulme. Your role will involve building strong relationships with pupils, using mentoring skills to help them engage with the school, and providing support in the classroom and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with pupils and act as a mentor and role model
* Use mentoring skills to help pupils engage with the school
* Provide support in the classroom and out of the classroom
* Work with pupils who have additional needs and mental health issues
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar setting
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and above
* GCSE Maths and English
* Computer literate
* Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
