Exciting Opportunity for a Security Cleared Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in delivering projects and programmes in the Defence, Real Estate, and Infrastructure sectors.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a security cleared Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our busy and expanding London office. You will be working on a variety of projects, including construction, real estate, and infrastructure, and will be responsible for providing cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cost management services to clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Security cleared
  • Degree qualified and MRICS qualified (or working towards)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Inquisitive and problem-solving skill base
  • NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy - two-stage tendering experience required
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience preferably in a similar role
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined programme team environment
