Job Summary
Care Home Chef sought for a dynamic team at Go To Outsourcing. As a key member, you will oversee meal preparation and service for residents, ensuring excellent nutrition and catering to special dietary needs. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a small kitchen team.

Schedule
Flexible schedule with shifts between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (generally 8-10 hours), including weekends. The ideal candidate can work 20-30+ hours per week. Requirements include a valid Right to Work in the UK, 12 months experience in a care setting, and an Enhanced DBS certificate (can be applied for).

Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary rate of £14.50 - £18 mid-week and £16 - £21 on weekends. Additional benefits include opportunities for career growth and professional development within our organization.

About the Role
As Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for managing meal preparation, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your expertise in English-style cuisine and experience in running a kitchen are essential for this position. You should be able to cook for large groups, work from fresh produce, and adapt to changing patient preferences. Comfortable with IDDSI training and working with Assistive Technology Devices (ATDs) is a plus. We offer ongoing support and training for our staff to ensure their success in this challenging but rewarding role.

Requirements
To succeed as our Care Home Chef, you must have at least 12 months experience as a head chef or equivalent. Your qualifications should include chef certifications or extensive experience in cooking English-based food and managing kitchen operations. Additional requirements include baking and pastries skills, experience working in a catering environment, and the ability to work independently.
