Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers and school leadership to deliver high-quality educational experiences for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring the continued progress and engagement of students.
- Provide targeted support to individuals and groups of students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to contribute to the planning and development of curriculum activities.
- Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to contribute to ongoing improvement.
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Qualified as HLTA or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
