About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning within our school. You'll work closely with teachers and leadership to deliver engaging lessons, provide tailored support to students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This position is perfect for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take on more responsibility and make a real impact on the educational journey of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring student engagement and progress.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or groups, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to contribute to curriculum planning and development.
  • Assist in assessing student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to support ongoing improvement.
  • Implement positive behavior management strategies to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices and educational innovations.
Qualifications and Skills:

You'll need:

  • A qualification as an HLTA or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for contributing to the educational success of students.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field.
