Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation: Lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and progress effectively.
  • Targeted Support: Provide individualized assistance to students, adapting teaching strategies to cater to various learning styles.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work alongside educators and school leaders to assist in the design and execution of curriculum activities.
  • Assessment Contributions: Aid in evaluating student progress, offering valuable feedback to enhance ongoing educational improvement.
  • Behavior Management: Employ positive behavior strategies to cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of educational best practices and innovations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Teaching Assistant, with the ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with educators, students, and parents.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about contributing to students' educational success.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related discipline.
