**Job Title:** Learning Support Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-Time and Part-Time

**Location:** Remote (Flexible)

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other support staff.
  • Help to manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing social and communication skills.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials and maintaining student records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

**Requirements:**

  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
