**About Us**

GSL Education is a leading provider of education and training services, committed to delivering exceptional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team and contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

**The Role**

As an SEN Learning Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our support team, working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN and additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities that meet the individual needs of students.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitoring and tracking the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with SEN in an educational or care setting.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
