Job Title: LSA/TA/SEND Support/Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Support Worker/Youth Worker. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism, Severe and Complex Needs.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position, working 5 days a week within the school or college provision. As a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Support Worker/Youth Worker, you will be responsible for supporting students with Severe Learning Disabilities, Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities, and Autism in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting students to improve engagement, interaction, and attainment
  • Developing your skills and knowledge as a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Support Worker/Youth Worker
  • Working closely with parents to ensure consistency between school and home
  • Providing a friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, building strong relationships with individual children

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, or individuals with personal experience to develop their skills and make a real difference in the lives of children.

Requirements:
