We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.
Job SummaryThis is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As an Occupational Therapist in our Community Mental Health team, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Carry a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Manage a team of junior staff, providing supervision and appraisal to support their development and growth.
- Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services within the Community Team.
- Engage with the Occupational Therapy referrals process, identifying and prioritizing the need for Occupational Therapy-specific interventions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
