Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to recover and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Occupational Therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based and client-centered approaches.
- Manage a caseload of clients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions to promote recovery and social inclusion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Recovery Support Workers and Employment Specialists, to enhance vocational outcomes and promote recovery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, carers, and external partners to promote co-production and service-user engagement.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services within the Community Team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, including OT students on practice placement.
