About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based and client-centered principles.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions to promote recovery and social inclusion.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy services within the community team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
  • Engage with the occupational therapy referrals process, identifying and prioritizing the need for occupational therapy specific interventions.
  • Provide leadership to junior staff through supervision and appraisal, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
