About the Role

The Ultimate Banking is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Officer to join our team. As a key support to the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of operational risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated processes to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and good practice.
  • Provide assurance reviews to ensure good governance and oversight of operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Officer (Financial Risk) and Compliance team to provide a responsive and proportionate approach to managing risk.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and greater efficiencies while remaining within risk appetite.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of key legal and regulatory frameworks relating to risk in the financial services sector.
Requirements
  • Operational Risk management experience within financial services, ideally in a second line risk function.
  • Knowledge of Operational Risk and Resilience Frameworks, Recovery and Resolution planning, and involvement in Third Party Risk Management oversight.
  • Risk Management qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
