Job Title: Installation Site Manager

NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Installation Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of civil engineering and cable installation works on our client's major HVDC projects in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on site in accordance with company requirements for quality.
  • Establish and demobilize site offices for land installation.
  • Plan work on site, scheduling working hours and activities to eliminate or minimize safety-related risks.
  • Ensure work is performed according to Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental plans.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all project members are aware of their responsibilities and have the necessary resources, authority, and influence to carry out tasks efficiently and safely.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree or formal qualification in civil engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in turn-key land cable installation projects, including civils and cable installation scope.
  • Qualifications: UK NVQ/SMSTS, CSCS card, and temporary works experience/awareness.
  • Languages: Fluent English (additional languages an advantage).
  • Social Skills: Ability to establish good relations with client and subcontractor representatives at all levels.
  • Communication: Ability to write and review high-quality documentation, such as method statements, risk assessments, and construction plans.
