About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Installation Manager to join our team at NES Fircroft Ltd. As a Site Installation Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of civil engineering and cable installation works on land-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Site Management: Oversee the installation of cables and civil engineering works on land-based projects, ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards, meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree or formal qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in land-based cable installation projects, including civil engineering and cable installation scope.
- Qualifications: UK NVQ/SMSTS, CSCS card, and temporary works experience.
- Languages: Fluent English (additional languages an advantage).
- Social Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good relationships with clients and subcontractors.
