Job Title: Installation Site Manager

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled Installation Site Manager to join our team for a major HVDC project in Scotland.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing civil engineering and cable installation works, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Plan and schedule work on site to minimize safety risks and ensure efficient execution.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and internal resources to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor progress against project plans and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and plans.
  • Manage installation and service activities to meet quality and quantity requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or formal qualification in civil engineering or construction management.
  • Experience: Proven experience in turnkey land cable installation projects, including civils and cable installation scope.
  • Qualifications: UK NVQ/SMSTS, CSCS card, and temporary works experience.
  • Languages: Fluent English (additional languages an advantage).
  • Social Skills: Ability to establish good relations with clients and subcontractor representatives.
  • Communication: Ability to write and review high-quality documentation.
