Our Adult Social Care team is responsible for providing support and care to adults with disabilities, older adults, and their families. We are seeking an experienced Home Support Worker to join our team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week. The salary for this role is £23,344 to £24,395 per annum.
About the Role
- ">
- You will work as part of a rota to meet the needs of our clients and provide personalized support to help them achieve their goals.
- You will be responsible for providing personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and laundry services.
- You will also support individuals to access social and leisure activities, such as college classes, resource centers, and community access.
- Monitoring individual emotional and general wellbeing on a daily basis and ensuring the protection of adults from abuse.
Requirements
- ">
- Educated to RQF Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent by experience with a willingness to achieve the award within 24 months of starting the role.
- Experience within a social care setting and working within a team environment.
- Good communication skills and an ability to develop a rapport and engage with diverse groups of individuals.
- Some experience working with adults with disability or the desire to working in this field.
