Night Concierge Role

At Montcalm Collection, we are seeking a skilled and ambitious Night Concierge to join our team. As a Night Concierge, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to all guests during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with late check-ins and early check-outs, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Provide the highest possible standard of service to guests.
  • Support and assist other night shift staff to ensure smooth operations across all departments during nighttime hours.
  • Ensure all messages and facsimiles are delivered to guests as quickly as possible.
  • Be familiar with the location of all rooms and the facilities each type offers to guests.
  • Ensure the entrance and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Meet and follow up on guest requests in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with other night shift staff to handle guest requests and maintain hotel operations.
  • Ensure the hotel environment remains quiet and orderly during the night, addressing any disturbances promptly and discreetly.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel and the company.
  • Promote other Montcalm Hotels and restaurants.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in London.
  • Seek ways to maintain, improve, and effectively manage the porters and doormen.
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests as instructed by the manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent level of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Approachable, professional, and an eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of London restaurants and attractions.
  • Knowledge of Opera.
  • Previous experience in a 5* property is preferable.

Eligibility

Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the UK. Currently, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
