About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Bioinformatician to join our multidisciplinary team working across the Division of Medicine at UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

The successful candidate will have experience in bioinformatics and computational analysis, with a strong publication track record and evidence of the ability to sustain independent research and original contributions.

About You

You will be responsible for interrogating scRNAseq data and aligning them with biological processes uncovered so far. This requires excellent programming skills and knowledge of bioinformatics tools and techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, experience in bioinformatics and computational analysis, and a strong publication track record. Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at Grade 6B with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD Thesis.

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
