About the Role

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled ENT Specialist to join our expanding Head & Neck team. As a Rhinology Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert clinical opinion on a range of problems within ENT Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality service in the Ear, Nose, and Throat department, working closely with Consultant and Senior colleagues.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours On-Call service, providing telephone advice and support for major incidents.
  • Take part in medical audit and research, ensuring the requirements of clinical governance are met.
  • Ensure adequate arrangements are in place for hospital staff to contact you when necessary.
  • Play a full part in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.

Requirements

  • Full registration and a licence to practise with the GMC, with entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR (CP).
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery.
  • Evidence of audit and the implementation of change following the audit.
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems within ENT Surgery.
