Job Description:

Striving for Potential, Achievement and Resilience in Kids (SPARK) is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing timely support for young people and families. Our approach focuses on improving the mental well-being of children, teenagers, young adults, and their caregivers through an integrative approach.

This contract role as a Children and Young People's Mental Health Practitioner involves providing day-to-day support and intervention for the mental well-being of children, teenagers, and young adults. While primarily based in Ware, there is flexibility for some remote work, and travel around the area may be required.

  • A competitive salary of £15,000 per annum, equivalent to approximately £150 per day, reflecting the value we place on our team members.
  • Certifications in relevant mental health interventions are essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children and young people with mental health difficulties is crucial.
  • Knowledge of child development, mental health disorders, and evidence-based interventions for CYP is necessary.
  • An Enhanced DBS that covers Adult and Child workforce is required, or a willingness to obtain one.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and engagement skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
