Mental Health Support Specialist

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs in the education and training sector.
This role involves collaborating with the clinical team to implement targeted interventions and developing individualized learning strategies and support plans for students.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health support and relevant experience working with SEN or mental health needs.
Estimated salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum based on 40 hours a week, depending on location and experience.
Key responsibilities include supporting students with autism, ADHD, and communication challenges, as well as providing pastoral care and emotional support to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
