About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team as a Crisis Resolution Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.


Job Summary


This role involves working closely with the Team Leader to develop and implement a multi-professional Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment Team, providing high-quality services to meet the needs of people in acute phases of mental illness and their carers.


Responsibilities



  • Support the Team Leader in the development and implementation of the Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment Team.
  • Ensure efficient and effective running of the team, providing leadership and supervision within the multi-disciplinary staff group as appropriate.
  • Undertake urgent assessments of people with mental health problems in acute crisis and provide intensive community-based treatment/support services as an alternative to inpatient admission.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their carers, and colleagues to positively manage risk in the acute care pathway, whilst enabling an individual's recovery journey.
  • Help establish and maintain team systems and processes for effective team working, including outcome measures and audit under the direction of the Team Manager.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Post-registration experience with at least some experience at Band 6.
  • Experience in acute and community areas.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience in care planning, change management, and use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of physical health contributions to mental health issues, difficulties, and assessment.
