About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team based in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing urgent assessments and intensive community-based treatment services to individuals with acute mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake urgent assessments of individuals with mental health problems in acute crisis and provide intensive community-based treatment services as an alternative to inpatient admission.
  • Work collaboratively with our service users, their carers, and colleagues to positively manage risk in the acute care pathway and facilitate early discharges from acute inpatient units.
  • Support the Team Leader in the development and implementation of a multi-professional Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment Team providing a high-quality service to meet the needs of people in acute phases of mental illness.

Requirements

  • Post-registration experience with at least some experience at Band 6.
  • Experience in acute and community areas, with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge of physical health contributions to mental health issues, difficulties, and assessment.
