School Administrator

Pastoral Leaders, also known as School Administrators, are required to work in a local school in Dover. The successful applicants will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a House, ensuring the welfare and needs of students are met.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaise with the Housemaster/Mistress to ensure they are briefed on events and developments during the day.
- Supervise students during working hours, including their personal cleanliness, completion of House duties, and punctuality for all school commitments.
- Accompany students to meals and supervise them as required.
- Support the Tutor and House Parent with the academic, behaviour, and general progress of students in the House.
- Administer medication and provide basic First Aid treatment as necessary.
- Monitor the fabric of the House and requisition repairs or replacements as needed.
- Participate in social, sporting, or other House activities for students.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational and ICT skills for recording and monitoring students.
- Ability to support young people when required.
- A good basic level of education up to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- NVQ or BSA qualifications in relation to working with students are desirable.
£17,660 per annum, including holiday pay based on 40 weeks of the year.
