Medical Centre Lead Clinician Position

This permanent position involves managing a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, administrators, and medical retainers to deliver comprehensive health and wellbeing services. The postholder will supervise the team, conduct performance appraisals, manage performance, and identify training needs. Quality assurance is ensured through audits and assessments, incidents are addressed promptly, and resources are managed efficiently. Advice on protocol development, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained, and staff wellbeing is supported. Local GP services are liaised with to enhance accessibility, complaints are managed effectively, and data protection and health regulations are adhered to. Accurate record-keeping is overseen, medical equipment is monitored, and School-based immunisation sessions are coordinated. Electronic triage is utilised for staff support, GPs are chaperoned, and tier 1 wellbeing support is provided. Health and wellbeing assessments are conducted, health promotion delivered, and specific health needs addressed.
