We are seeking an exceptional Medical Centre Lead Clinician to join our team at The Duke of York's Royal Military School. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our boarding students. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in supervising staff, conducting performance appraisals, and managing performance. They will also be able to identify training needs, ensure quality assurance through audits and assessments, address incidents promptly, and manage resources efficiently. Additionally, they will be responsible for advising on protocol development, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and supporting staff wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a Registered General Nurse qualification with live NMC registration, experience of performance appraisal and supervision, Specialist Community Public Health (SN) qualification, and experience working in an emergency environment (Urgent treatment Centre/A&E department). They will also have experience working with young people and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of their wellbeing and mental health needs.

This is a permanent contract with a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The shifts may range from 0700 to 2200 Monday to Sunday.
