Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations and Revenue Manager to join our team at Titanic Hotel Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department, driving revenue, and achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Reservations Department and team, including assisting with calls and emails.
  • Ensure all reservations enquiries and bookings are handled promptly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage the day-to-day revenue of the hotel and the Reservations Team.
  • Assist the Cluster Revenue Manager with revenue management strategy and distribution channels.
  • Review and report on daily, weekly, and monthly pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments, and reporting.
  • Perform competitive research reports.
  • Keep up to date with changing market trends and 3rd party activities.
  • Manage relationships and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution channels.
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing Department in creating and developing strategies across all segments.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Cluster Revenue Manager in preparing annual budget and updated forecasts.
  • Analyse, assess, and price group business.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports reviewing KPIs, including room revenue segmentation, source, nationality performance, and commentary with recommendations.
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated, and working to full capacity.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with procedures as outlined in the Reservations Standards Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure hotel personnel are fully competent in the use of our PMS and other reservations/revenue systems.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend/execute corrective action.
  • Ensure effective communication with other departments within the hotel.
  • Maintain all hotel standards, comply with employee handbook guidelines, and protect and enhance the assets of the hotel.
