The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team at Juniper Karinya in Embleton. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all areas of the site are kept hygienic and presentable, contributing to a comfortable and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning services, including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Use relevant chemicals and associated safety principles when cleaning.
  • Respect residents' property and privacy.
  • Safely use equipment and personal protective equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid work rights in Australia.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
  • Understanding of infection control.
  • Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting (desirable).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
