About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as a Named Nurse for Children Looked After. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to vulnerable children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the Children Looked After team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the health and wellbeing of looked after children
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care for looked after children
  • Conduct statutory health assessments and develop health care plans for looked after children
  • Lead on innovation and change management to improve healthcare services for looked after children

Requirements
  • Registered children's nurse or specialist community public health nurse
  • Experience of working with looked after children and young people
  • Strong clinical leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies
