Nurse for Children Looked After

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Named Nurse for Children Looked After. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to vulnerable children and young people.
Main Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to children looked after.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the health and wellbeing of children looked after.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure the seamless delivery of healthcare services to children looked after.
- Conduct statutory health assessments and develop health care plans for children looked after.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services delivered to children looked after.

- Registered on either Part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register as a registered children's nurse or Part 3 as a specialist community public health nurse.
- Minimum of three years' experience related to caring for babies/children and young people and relevant experience with looked after children and young people.
- Competent with IT, computer skills, health databases e.g. Systmone, Web V, Lorenzo or similar.
