We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our supported living and outreach service in the Blackpool area. Our team provides person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carer to take on a leadership role, receiving ongoing training to further their personal and professional development.

Your key responsibilities as Senior Support Worker will include:

  • Providing respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users
  • Collaborating with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximise service user outcomes
  • Implementing Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the service meets CQC requirements
  • Supervising and supporting staff to best meet service user needs and preferences
  • Supporting the service user to have opportunities for a full and happy life, and to be safe and well

A clean valid driving licence and access to a car are desirable for this role but not essential. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £24,000-£28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
