Job Title: Accommodation Office Team Leader

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, negotiable

The Recruiter Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accommodation Office Team Leader to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of claims handlers to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of claims handlers to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
  2. Motivate the team to achieve targets and personal goals.
  3. Manage team workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered.
  4. Manage the holiday calendar and authorisations.
  5. Conduct monthly 1 to 1 meetings with team members and complete appraisals within required timescales.
  6. Oversee and monitor the lifecycle of the team's claims.
  7. Identify training needs in the team and implement necessary training.
  8. Provide account management support where required.
  9. Deal with complaint calls received in the team.
  10. Develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely.
  11. Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  12. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
  13. Thriving in a high-pressured working environment.
  14. Driven to meet and exceed targets set for the Real Estate Team.
  15. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  16. Knowledge and experience of Property Claims.
