About Caudwell House

Caudwell House is an exceptional residential home for children with physical disabilities, associated learning difficulties and sensory and health needs.

Located in the picturesque market town of Southwell, our home has been providing a service for children since the 1950s.

Job Overview

We are seeking an inspirational and experienced leader to develop and lead our staff team in delivering outstanding care to vulnerable children.

The successful candidate will have the right skills, values and knowledge to ensure the physical, emotional, cultural and health care needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and lead a highly skilled and trained staff team in delivering outstanding care to children with complex needs.
  • To work closely with the management team to ensure the effective delivery of services that meet the needs of our residents.
  • To maintain high standards of care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with children and young people in a managerial capacity within a residential setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children with disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents and their families.
  • A deep understanding of the needs of children with complex disabilities, and the ability to develop and deliver care plans that meet those needs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus enhancements for weekend, evening and bank holiday working.

You will also receive a generous holiday entitlement above statutory requirements, access to a range of employee benefits, and extensive training and development opportunities.
