Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as Deputy Manager at Caudwell House, a residential care home for children with disabilities.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring that effective, strength-based, nurturing relationships are built and maintained between all colleagues, children, and staff.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and robust management to the staff team, demonstrating highly effective communication skills and offering a clear sense of direction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times
  • Participating in and undertaking regular audits and reviews of the quality systems within the home
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Working closely with Human Resources to address performance matters that can impact on the care of children

Regular, ongoing, supportive supervision will be offered by the Registered Manager, and a mentor will be provided when you join the service.
