Director of Ethics and Compliance Investigations

Balfour Beatty Communities is a global infrastructure investor operating in the UK, US, and Canada. We provide the investment capability to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our Ethics and Compliance team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our investigations program. This includes prioritizing, classifying, and assigning investigations, as well as managing third-party vendors and liaising with law enforcement as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigations, preferably with experience in government contracting and financial crimes. A minimum of 12 years of investigative experience and 5 years in a manager/supervisory role are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the investigations program
  • Manage third-party vendors and liaise with law enforcement
  • Establish investigation-related operating policies and procedures
  • Work with the Ethics and Compliance team and Company leadership to interpret organizational policies and implement remediation
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and/or JD
  • Knowledge of and experience with issues related to government contracting preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with investigating complex compliance matters, including fraud and financial crimes
  • Minimum of 12 years investigative experience and 5 years in a manager/supervisory role
