Multi-Skilled Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a global manufacturing company based in Hayes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical problem-solving support to assist with achieving factory KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the operations teams by providing technical problem-solving support to assist with achieving factory KPIs
  • Root cause analysis to identify and resolve machinery issues
  • Thorough and detailed handover for day shift engineers
  • Reactive machinery maintenance
  • Performing Predictive Maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Updating maintenance procedures
Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled engineer with 5+ years of experience working within an FMCG environment
  • Experience with packaging and production line machinery, including check weighers, metal detectors, tray sealers, flow wrappers, etc.
  • Knowledge of PUWER, COSH, LOLER, and SSOW regulations
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement
  • Highly experienced problem solver with a strong understanding of H&S
  • Strong experience working with PLCs
